Important Announcement - TN Town Hall Launch!!

Tea Party Coalition, Tea Party Cooperative, and Change The Congress In 2010 are pleased to announce the launching of Tennessee Town Hall.  TN Town Hall will be the nations first online, ongoing, interactive public forum where all 2010 midterm election candidates in Tennessee have been invited to participate regardless of party affiliation.  Questions will be asked of both gubernatorial and US house candidates.  Starting November 1st, and every two weeks thereafter, we will post a new question to the candidates in TPC Interactive.  The forum will then be open for the candidates to reply and the members of TPC can post followup questions. A total of 25 questions will be asked of the candidates leading right up to the 2010 election.  Questions will be submitted by talk radio personalities, journalists, blogger's, and the TPC general membership from across the state.  Participating candidates are also invited to participate in the Candidates Corner open forum and can speak on any topic they desire.  This unique approach aimed at informing the electorate should be of benefit to all concerned citizens and groups.  Please help us spread the word of this important initiative!!  You can access the forum directly at www.tntownhall.com.

Uniting Tea Party Groups In The Spirit Of Cooperation

Picture
Tea Party Coalition is a place for everyone.  We are non partisan, unabashedly conservative, and drama free.  Our goal is to create a place to allow for the free exchange of ideas and coordination of efforts for Tea Party, Conservative, and Freedom Fighting groups across the state of Tennessee.  Our only agenda here is to stop the encroachment of an overreaching government into all aspects of our lives through the coordinated efforts of a unified body.  Our vision is to unite like minded Tennesseans in common purpose; to facilitate active communication among all community, county, and state level groups and organizations in a central local; to provide this centrality in order that effective communication and planning may take place; to be a site for links to all our member groups and organizations; to provide a central repository of information on all events within the counties and state; and to provide a central location/database for all relevant research material, educational tools, events materials, speaker and venue lists for the state of Tennessee.  These resources are to be used by all for the betterment and strengthening of our movement.  We will foster cooperation among all our members and encourage unity in all our endeavors.  If you are new to the tea party movement please use the resources here to find a group or groups which share your passions.  The most important thing is to get active and engaged.  While the heart and soul of the American spirit has been forged in independent thinking and action, the time has come that we must unite.  We will have to speak with one voice if we hope to effect a major shift going into the next election cycles.  Plus we have to be able to react quickly and in unison to slow the actions of this current administration and its many minions of community organizers.  They are structured and have been organizing and infiltrating all aspects of our society for many years, and we must work hard and in concert to implement the change WE can believe in!

Why would we expend our time and resources to do all this?  For many months we have witnessed, and been a part of, the growth of the Tea Party movement as this feeling of unrest has been bubbling up all across this nation.  There have been many good and strong groups formed and many are doing good work for our common cause.  There has also been other groups that have come and gone, as well as many that have become fractured due to egos, agendas, and personalities.  It is our considered feeling that the challenges we are up against are far too important to allow for these issues to dilute our message and diminish our movement.  A wise man once said "If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive. If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative."  So that is why we ask of all our members to please conduct yourselves with integrity and respect for your fellow patriots and always remember that we are governed here by but one leader, our lord Jesus Christ.

"If we do not hang together, we will all hang separately."  Benjamin Franklin 1706-1790
